ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) -- Charles Edward Fugate, 63, of Attica Route 2, a life resident of the community, was found dead at 8:05 p.m. yesterday (June 6, 1968) in Riverside Cemetery. Authorities attributed death to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Born June 13, 1904, in Attica, he was the son of Milton and Emma Epperson Fugate. He attended Attica school and had been a carpenter. He was a veteran of service with the Army medical corps during World War II. Survivors include a brother, Ralph of Attica; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Roemer Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry Randolph will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Saturday.  --waw
